Role Overview
We are seeking a highly organized, hands-on Operations Manager to build, manage, and continuously improve the core operational infrastructure of the company. This individual will oversee logistics, inventory, warehouse operations, office management, and overall operational workflow across HQ, studio, and retail. The ideal candidate is both strategic and willing to roll up their sleeves - comfortable managing processes and people, but also ready to jump in and pack boxes, receive fabric, or troubleshoot a delivery when needed.


Key Responsibilities

1. Logistics Management

• Oversee inbound and outbound logistics, including freight forwarders, customs brokers, carrier relationships, and returns logistics.

• Ensure on-time deliveries for raw materials, finished goods, and ecommerce orders.

• Develop systems for freight tracking, documentation, and operational reporting. Support hands-on execution when needed (e.g., shipping boxes, receiving materials).

2. Inventory Management

• Maintain accurate inventory across warehouse and studio locations.

• Lead cycle counts, reconciliation, and stock investigations.

• Build scalable processes for inventory accuracy and stock integrity.

• Participate in hands-on tasks such as inventory counts and organization.

3. Warehouse & Fulfillment Operations

• Manage the hourly shipping associate, ensuring strong day-to-day workflow and adherence to packaging and brand standards.

• Oversee daily order flow, replenishment, returns processing, and general throughput.

• Monitor and improve efficiency, quality control, and physical organization within warehouse and studio spaces.

4. Retail Operations Support

• Support operational readiness for new store openings and ongoing retail operations.

• Oversee store supplies, stock flow, back-of-house processes, packaging, and store-to-studio communication.

• Collaborate with retail, merchandising, and production teams to ensure clean execution across channels.

5. Facilities Coordination

• Support the Manager of Construction and Facilities on maintenance needs, vendor coordination, and small-scale HQ, store, and workshop projects.

6. Office Management & HQ Operations

• Ensure the HQ environment is organized, functional, and aesthetically aligned with the
  brand.

• Oversee supplies, space setup, utilities, mailroom processes, and general office workflows.

• Implement systems that maintain operational excellence and support team productivity.

7. Customer Service (Escalations)

• Handle operational escalations from customer service, ensuring quick resolutions related to shipments, returns, and product accuracy.

• Partner with ecommerce and customer experience teams to refine and improve internal processes.

What We’re Looking For

Experience & Skills

• 4–7 years of experience in operations, logistics, warehouse management, or supply chain; experience in consumer goods, fashion, or luxury strongly preferred. Strong understanding of logistics workflows (freight, customs, carriers, tracking).

• Experience managing warehouse operations and small teams.

• High operational rigor and attention to detail; comfortable in a fast-growth, startup-style environment.

• Ability to build procedures from scratch and continuously improve existing systems.

With our Soho studio, upcoming flagship, new atelier/workshop, and expanding portfolio of offices and residential properties, we are seeking a Manager of Construction & Facilities to support our next phase of growth. This role is hands-on, fast-paced, and ideal for someone who thrives in a founder-led, start-up environment.


Role Summary

The Manager, Construction & Facilities will oversee day-to-day facilities operations and coordinate construction and renovation projects across AFLALO’s portfolio - including the Soho flagship store, office spaces, workshop/atelier, warehouse, and select private properties. This individual will directly manage vendors, track budgets and schedules, ensure quality standards, and support a seamless, elevated experience across all AFLALO spaces. This role is tactical, execution-driven, and requires someone who enjoys being in the details while coordinating multiple projects simultaneously.


Key Responsibilities

Construction & Renovations

• Support planning and execution of construction and renovation projects (retail, office, workshop, warehouse, private).

• Serve as the owner’s representative with architects, engineers, general contractors, and consultants.

• Coordinate permitting, inspections, and regulatory requirements.

• Maintain project schedules, budgets, punchlists, and documentation.

• Ensure all spaces meet AFLALO’s standard of craftsmanship and finish.

Facilities & Property Management

• Oversee daily facilities operations across all properties.

• Manage service providers (cleaning, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, security, waste, etc.).

• Maintain preventative maintenance programs.

• Conduct regular property walkthroughs and track repairs and improvements.

• Manage work orders, emergencies, and escalation paths.

• Support upkeep of select private/residential properties with discretion and professionalism.

Vendor & Budget Oversight

• Source, negotiate, and manage contractors and service providers.

• Maintain vendor performance, SLAs, and quality expectations.

• Track budgets, change orders, invoices, and overall project financials.

Cross-Functional Support

• Partner with Operations, Retail, Production, and Leadership teams to align construction and facilities with business needs.

• Coordinate logistics around openings, installations, moves, and maintenance activities.

• Ensure all AFLALO environments reflect the brand’s aesthetic and operational standards.

Qualifications

• 5–8+ years of experience in construction project management, facilities management, or owner’s representative roles.

• Experience with retail, commercial, workshop/industrial, or high-end residential projects.

• Strong vendor and contractor management skills.

• Knowledge of NYC permitting, inspections, and building operations is strongly preferred.

• Hands-on, solutions-oriented, highly organized, and detail-driven.

• Professional, discreet, and comfortable in evolving, start-up environments.

• Proficient with project management and collaboration tools (Procore, Asana, Monday, MS Project, or similar).

We’re seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Production Associate to join our growing team. This role supports both import and in-house production, with a strong emphasis on the fast-paced, hands-on needs of our in-house atelier. You’ll be involved at every stage of the product lifecycle—from sourcing fabrics to managing samples and supporting production—ensuring timely execution, quality, and clear communication across teams.


Key Responsibilities

Cross-Functional Support

• Enter and maintain purchase orders, own BOMs, and product data in internal systems

• Coordinate sample trafficking for fittings, approvals, and internal reviews

• Conduct quality control checks on samples and production

• Maintain overall organization and cleanliness of the atelier and materials

• Manage fabric and trim purchasing, receiving, and tracking across multiple locations

• Maintain real-time raw material inventory, identifying shortages before they impact timelines

In-House Development & Production

• Support the daily workflow of the atelier, including prep of trims, cut tickets, and workroom communication

• Manage scheduling, booking if sewers based on development and production priorities

• Collaborate with the patternmaker and sewers to resolve construction and fit issues

• Help facilitate rapid development from prototype to production with a hands-on, solutions-oriented approach

Import Production

• Track development and bulk production timelines with overseas vendors

• Update and maintain WIP, calendars for each season

• Support sourcing and materials management for both domestic and international partners

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in a production or product development role in fashion

• Familiarity with atelier/sample room operations and managing in-house workflows

• Strong organizational and time management skills; comfortable balancing shifting priorities

• Experience with fabric and trim sourcing, inventory management, and vendor communication

• A proactive, hands-on problem solver with strong attention to detail

• Excellent interpersonal skills; able to collaborate with designers, patternmakers, and sewers

• Proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets; experience with PLM or ERP systems is a plus

Responsibilities:

• Develop seasonal design concepts and sketch collections across ready-to-wear and denim

• Design thoughtful, elevated silhouettes that express the brand’s sensual, opulent, and modern point of view

• Collaborate closely with the Founder and product development team to bring ideas to life

• Research vintage, runway, art, and cultural references to inform and inspire

• Contribute to styling direction and creative planning for seasonal photoshoots

• Partner with technical design to ensure fit, construction, and finish meet Aflalo’s standards

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of design experience in luxury or directional contemporary fashion

• Strong portfolio with a clear, refined aesthetic and understanding of proportion and drape

• Experience designing across categories

• Deep knowledge of fabric, construction, and elevated detailing

• Highly organized, collaborative, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
