About the Role

AFLALO is a young luxury brand led by the founder of Reformation. We are opening our flagship store in SoHo and seeking a Retail Stockroom Lead to build and run its back-of-house operations. Starting ahead of the late-2026 opening, you’ll manage inventory, receiving, fulfillment, and consignment tracking from our showroom, then lead the move into the new store. This is a hands-on role with meaningful ownership over how a luxury retail back-of-house operates. Once the store opens, you’ll report to the Boutique Director.


What You'll Own

  • Inventory & receiving: Maintain accurate inventory counts and organization, including receiving, cycle counts, and reconciliation

  • Inventory movement & reconciliation: Coordinate transfers between locations, investigate discrepancies, and ensure physical inventory matches system records

  • Back-of-house operations: Help set up and maintain BOH organization, processes, and supplies, including leading the inventory move into the new store

  • Merchandise prep: Tag, steam, and prepare merchandise for the sales floor

  • Fulfillment & returns: Support ecommerce shipping and returns in the showroom alongside a part-time shipping associate; transition to ship-from-store fulfillment and returns once the store opens

  • Consignment tracking: Track consigned inventory in and out, keeping systems and physical stock in sync

  • Sample management: Manage brand samples housed in the BOH, including shipping them out and processing them back in


What We're Looking For

  • 2–3+ years of back-of-house or stockroom experience; luxury or fashion retail preferred

  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, able to manage high product volumes accurately

  • Independent and proactive, with a strong sense of urgency and ownership; energized by a fast-paced, early-stage environment 

  • Comfortable with physical work, including lifting up to 40 pounds, organizing and moving inventory

  • Familiarity with inventory and POS systems; Shopify experience is a plus
